Club Social Program and Major Events

The Hamilton Club was founded to foster social interaction, and that tradition continues to be a central focus of what the Club is all about. To help members plan ahead, the Club's Social Committee creates a six-month schedule of social events, that are listed on a month-by-month calendar that also includes regularly scheduled and recurring social functions.

Annual Events
News Year’s Day Directors’ Reception
An annual tradition just for Club members, compliments of the Club. Includes hors d'oeuvres and full buffet dinner.

Valentine’s Day Dinner
A romantic dinner for two or a celebration with friends.

Palm Sunday Brunch
Breakfast/Lunch buffet for all ages. Multiple seatings. Guests welcome.

Easter Sunday Brunch
Seatings at noon and 3 p.m. Special holiday buffet with family and friends. Guests welcome.

Upstairs/Downstairs Party
A perennial favorite. All areas of the Club feature special food, drink and entertainment. Each year is different, and each year is special. Guests welcome.

Mother’s Day Brunch
Best brunch in town for Mom and family. Multiple seatings.

Annual Meeting
Social hour and dinner followed by the Club's business.

Closing Night Party
Friday night prior to the annual shutdown. One last night of great food, cocktails and entertainment. Dress: Very casual. Guests welcome.

Conestoga House Picnic
Held on the grounds of one of Lancaster's venerable estates.

Annual Picnic
An old-fashioned lawn party for all members.

Thanksgiving Day Brunch
Traditional Thanksgiving Day buffet. Multiple seatings. Guests welcome.

Holiday Brunch
Traditional holiday buffet. Guests welcome.

Holiday Buffet with Santa
Evening buffet for young and old with Jolly Old St. Nick.

Christmas Formal
Members break out their tuxedos and evening gowns for cocktails, dinner and dancing in a festive holiday setting.

New Year’s Eve Buffet
Hamilton Club family and friends gather for dinner on a traditionally festive and fun-filled evening.

Recurring Events
Speaker Series
A luncheon, dinner, or an evening gathering, where interesting and informative speakers inform and entertain members and guests.

Travelogues
Club members share their travel experiences, enjoy cocktails and dinner. Cuisine may reflect the travel location.

Cigar Club
Monthly gatherings in the Grille Room for good cigars, camaraderie and conversation. Bar service and dinner available.

Cigar Dinners
Cocktails, fine dining and informative programs tailored to complement smoking selections provided by purveyors of premium cigars.

Oyster Roasts
Raw bar and carving station, soups, salads, plus all the oysters and steamed shrimp you crave. Offered October through April, except for December.

Beer Dinners
Menus tailored to pair with an eclectic selection of beers chosen by our beer committee.

Wine Dinners
Menus tailored to pair with an interesting selection of wines chosen by our wine committee.

Bridge
Dinner and rubber bridge on the second and fourth Monday of the month.

Men's and Women's Bowling
Men's and women's leagues compete weekly. Championship tournaments and bowling banquets cap off the season.

Parent’s Night Out
Parents enjoy cocktails and dinner, while the children are entertained in the Grille Room, bowl or have fun in the Health Club.

Book Club
Monthly meeting where men and women get together to discuss a previously agreed upon book and enjoy hors d'oeuvres.
